Our Mission The mission of the University of Northern Iowa Student Theatre Association (UNISTA) is to produce and advocate theatre arts on campus and provide student artists and student patrons opportunities to risk and grow artistically, professionally, and interpersonally.
Meetings The UNISTA Board meets every Sunday at 9:00 p.m. in the South Lobby of Strayer-Wood Theatre on the University of Northern Iowa Campus. Interested students are encouraged to attend and ask questions and add their voice to discussions. If you have something you would like to produce through UNISTA, these weekly meetings are also a place to get help with the application process. (Advanced notice is appreciated.) Production teams have additional design and production meetings outside of the UNISTA Board meetings that are determined by the production team. A designated representative of every production is required to attend the weekly UNISTA Board meetings to provide updates and communciation to the board.
